It's good for spray control.
It's bad at long distances/taps.

There is a workshop map that is a crosshair generator.. It has all the crosshairs that different pros use loaded on there.

Adding that it depends on the resolution you use. His res/screensize may be different so it could be that the xhair doesnt fit yours. +rep for the " Crashz Crosshair Generator map".
