Gold Achievement medals = hacking? (CSGO)

I don't get it. I was not even the top of the leader board or even top-fragging. This guy suspects me as hacking cause i have 600 hours in csgo and have all this achievement gold medals. Why do people think that when you have all the achievement gold medals your hacking.? I have all this achievement gold medals because i just decided to do it. I used achievement maps to get all the gold medals. Explanation please.

I heared that there is a Achievement hack or something like this.......
I have a problem at the Moment my Achievements disappear from my Achievement and this is like very stupid called the Steam Support 4 help hopefully they dont think i use anything like that..... do u have a idea ?

Why did you cheat your achievements? For me it's a signal. If you are willing to cheat something, then you are probably willing to cheat on anything.

If you want trust, don't cheat on anything.

It's not cheating to get all achievements. Cheating involves gaining an advantage in-game. There is no advantage to have achievements. If Valve thought this was cheating, they would not allow achievement maps to be used.

Or, you know, actually issue VAC bans for using SAM.

I think cheating should be punished eitherway.

It has to do with credibility. Since OP asks why people suspect him. This is a reason.

No, it isn't. Not by the definition Valve uses. One can't gain advantage in-game. So it isn't cheating. Again, if Valve felt that gaining achievements using an achievment map was cheating, they would remove those maps. If Valve thought SAM use is cheating, they would ban for that.

Fun fact: You can get a VAC for using SAM if you are connected to a VAC-Secured server while using it.
So clearly Valve doesn't like it.

I've heard you can get banned and I've heard you can't. I don't know. I didn't use it. And achievements still don't matter.

In my opinion if you are using 3rd party tools to manipulate the way the game operates, you are cheating. And NO way of cheating should be 'allowed' or 'ignored'.

Sure, like many others, i dont really care if someone cheats their achievements, but if they are already cheating their achievements, how long will it take before they start cheating in other ways too?

I heard it doesn't even if you use it while on a VAC secured server. At least Funz said so if I remember correctly. The author does advise against it but only out of caution.

No, it should not. If I decide to cheat in say, The Witcher 3, to become invincible, how this does concern you? Right, not at all. And it's pretty much the same with CSGO achievements.
