CSGO only high ping but good download speed.

I'm checking the ping through MM server picker and its stable at 150-180. that was yesterday so i slept and woke up and the ping is still ♥♥♥♥. however, when i go try the internet by downloading L4D2, the speed was 6.7 MBs. whats wrong?

download speed has nothing to do with good ping.
I can get a normal ping when I limit myself to 10kb/s up and down.

it is about quality.

ping has nothing to do with download speed...
obviously u are putting urself to a far server to get that ping.

no i was getting 50-90 ping on it, and now suddenly i get 150

Go to matchmaking and in console type in "status". You should see the ping you get to all the servers.

also one thing idk if its important, but now everytime i launch cs it says first time setup.

try adding the steam folder to your security software exclusions.

also in community servers i get high ping aswell.
