The mystery of CSGO VoIP
Hi!

So I've been googling for hours now, without any luck.

To get VoIP to sound good in TS, I need windows to set the microphone to at least 80. If I have it at 80, there is extreme background noise in CSGO. If I adjust microphone in CSGO, to say 35, and increase voice_mixer_boost to 1, it's perfect, but that lowers the windows setting to 35, and TS volume is low again.

"Voice_mixer_volume" in CSGO doesn't seem to do anything, no change wether I set it to 0 or 1. "Voice_scale" doesn't do anything about the background noise, it only changes the actual voice imput higher or lower.

Anyone got a solution for getting good quality VoIP in BOTH applications at the same time?

What was wrong with default settings?

It sounds like I'm in a turbine when I press the PTT-button.
