Uh, then what is the point of playing?
If you are just going to give yourself everything, there is no point left in playing.
It's a video game, your time is worth nothing.
If one is in a position where the value of their time is an issue, one probably needs to not be in a video game and needs to be focusing on real life
As we know, in Borderlands 1 bosses and mini bosses don’t have their own loot pool. Which means that every legendary is essentially a World Drop, any legendary can drop from Red Chests, regular enemies, vending machines etc. Bosses having their own unique loot pools came w/ BL2.
Now, with 53 legendary weapons (base game) in the world drop pool, getting 1 specific weapon is difficult.
Not to mention the Awesome Level which is a b*tch. Each Loot Source has an Awesome Level that determines a rarity's weighting in the World Drop pool.
The higher the Awesome Level the higher is the weighting of Rare, Epic, and Legendary loot. The drop rates for legendaries range from <1% to 5.6% depending on the Loot Source's Awesome Level. It’s hard to explain in one comment, but yeah, Awesome Level plays a pretty big role in what you get in the game. It’s basically an internal game variable. Its values are numerical, and range in level from 0 – 77 (max found so far). Each enemy, chest and vendor has their own Awesome Levels.
The Masher variation of the Unforgiven is very rare. It gives:
1) good accuracy
2) incredible fire power
3) the shotgun spread effect
4) strong critical hit damage should all 7 projectiles hit the target
The chance of an Unforgiven dropping that has the Masher accessory is very low.
Regarding your opinion on time and WillowTree’s legitimacy: how people use WillowTree is up to them. I personally only use it when I wanna test a weapon and I don’t happen to have it. I have one character that’s fully modded, but I play legitimately in general. It’s not my right to tell others how to use something that was created to access equipment that would either take way too long to get, or equipment that is impossible to obtain (like Stock weapons). I have a friend who just wants to take on raid bosses in Borderlands 2 and 3, they of course will “abuse” the power WillowTree gives them. Ultimately, how one uses this tool depends on what they want from the game. It’s okay if you disagree, but we can’t control this. Popular YouTubers like Joltzdude literally upload save files of characters with perfect gear (Perfect Mordecai, Maya, etc). Should we judge him for uploading what some of his viewers prefer/want? (For the record I don’t watch his videos, I don’t like the guy’s content, but I’m aware he’s popular in the community)
