once you beat the story, i believe the whole game scales up at least to closer to your level (it's been a while)
When The Vault is first entered in Playthrough 2, all enemies throughout Pandora will see their level increased to 48-52. Items will likewise be encountered at maximum levels, with the vast majority being level 48. This setting is frequently referred to by the player community as "Playthrough 2.5" or "Playthrough 2+". The goal of this world modification is to allow players to fight balanced enemies anywhere.
Playthrough 2.5 is unlocked as soon as the mission Find Steele completes upon entering the Vault. Killing the Destroyer, or leaving it alone, has no effect on this global difficulty change
EDIT: or, I guess if you’re into modding and WillowTree, you can customize your level to match. If you really dont wanna be that overleveled.
I was going after Sledge and felt like Scarface on the way there.
joo wan a war? i gif joo a war, say hello to my leettle friend!
It means that:
-All quests and enemies now scale to your level
-You get better loot from chests
-You can finally start to farm bosses and mini-bosses(they drop unique weapons or just have a higher chance to drop an equipment with cool effect)
Playthrough 2.5 (in my opinion) is the best way to experience the DLCs. Have fun!
Well of course i am Brick LoL
Dont think cheesing Crawmerax works too well any more though.
I visited him just for giggles
He sees you as soon as the platform hits the top, and his minions beeline you before you can make it to the ledges, probably have to play ring around the pillars.
I do not tend to carry a lot
I usually keep my best shotgun, best combat rifle i can find, and then what ever turns out to be best elemental wise regardless of weapon type
Then one rocket launcher, and a sniper rifle, though brick does not excel at being a sniper.
everything else gets fed into the vending machines
I opened the vault in PT2
then i fast traveled to zombie island
The scaling seems to work, the zombies are now higher level than me.
At the rate it is dropping XP, without even doing the quests, just shooting zombies, i dont think it will take too long to be max level, and then we shall see about Mr Crawmerax
