Played all Borderlands solo only. Never had a problem and was very fun.

Only BL3 is great with Single Player.
BL1 and 2 ,you will get shot up all the time or run out of bullets.

You can tell they put a lot of time into gameplay balance with the third game.

The first big target in BL 1,you can shoot him all day and he hardly gets damaged.
I gave up on the BL franchise until BL3 which is a masterpiece in every way.

Unless you are 10 years old ,don't bother with BL1 and 2.

You clearly have a skill issue. BL1 is very easy, 2 is a little bit harder in my opinion but overall more enjoyable than BL1.

1 is great because there's no badass points nonsense to deal with. The only grind is 'use a gun to level up the gun'. I love that. In the enhanced version, the gun's level does affect its handling. I also really enjoy killing zombies in the dr. ned dlc. 2 has a good campaign story and whole lot of content. It forces you to play certain ways to do certain things though....like swapping to slag constantly. 3 has a stupid as hell story of content streamers in the future, but the game is a lot of fun.

BL3 was meant to be played on Normal and in a full group, playing solo is just to easy and not recommended (imo). All the Borderland games are way better in a group of 4 hands down.

Can't agree with you on BL1, it's mostly balanced except for two or three locations. Played it solo a lot, great experience.
However, you're right about BL2, everything is a bullet sponge and the whole gameplay feels very messy. It's also the most cringe entry in the series.

yes, i love this game even as a solo, i'm usually only with people when i play games but this time i genuinely like to play as a solo, it's more enjoyable for me in this game compared to one like borderlands 2, it's kind of coolhow well this game is made.
