This game basically dead

Not even 600 people on steam playing this and i have high doubts even a fraction of that playing it on console.

I can understand that I didn't have good experience with this version the connection was terrible beyond 2 people in the group.

It's a decade and a half old game on an aging engine that isn't an MMO, and there are 3 other newer mainline games in the franchise. Given that payday 3's current playerbase averages 300 players despite being a live service game released just last year, BL1 is still standing on its own legs well enough.

It's an old game with not much of an endgame compared to the sequels. 600 seems pretty good to me.

Yeah I suppose 600 aint too bad, currently playing bl2 with my son he finally got his own account so I'm loving getting back into this.

Hell yeah BL1 is still a riot, I just finished my own run of it with Brick, haven't punched the daylight out of so many people since I played Fallout New Vegas

I never used brick myself either birdman or lilith and I mostly preferred her.

i had fun playing it with others at one point. the world building in the pre bl3 games was fairly good it had good plot twists too at times and thats kinda rare for a looter shooter type game. playing it solo i can take in all the story and read the quest logs for more lore.

dont forget tales of the borderlands if you ever find your self enjoying the world its one of the better tell tale games

Anyways I just started from the first game random guy who read my review on xbox decided he wanted to play the whole series from the beginning so....not quite dead you can still find some people or they find you.

Update: Not that this matters but the dude last the first game and then decided he rather play dragon ball xenoverse so dropped him lol
