lag issues?
i was wondering if it is a known issue that this game sometimes will just lag a LOT out of nowhere and if there is a fix for it. the game will start out fine when i first load it up and play, but then after a while of playing ill get random bits of lag and then after some more playing it will lag like a LOT.

any help in the matter is appreciated.

Possible cause is large amounts of weaponry, lying down on ground and accumulating in memory. More - worse. Fix is simple: restart game, so memory is cleared.

id agree with you on that, except this lag happens even when just walking around with no weapons on the ground at all. nor any containers open.

I have the same issue, and restarting doesn't help. I get frequent crashes too. What card are you using?

Got the same issue as well, just lags and stutters no matter what.

Well to answer your Question: The port of the game itself is a mess, no matter how good your PC is, you will always encouter issues. BL2 on the other hand runs flawless for me, never had any crashes or such.

Fun Fact: The console Port of BL1 Enhanced runs much worse, the framerate is between 50 - 60 there.

this is also true for me. BL2 runs perfectly smooth. but for some reason this specific GOTY enhanced edition just doesnt like running so smooth.
