Brick Crawmerax Ledge?

does the ledge strategy work with brick? ive tried a few times now, either he continues to hit me after i crouch in the ledge or he kills me after i shoot him once.

the dumbasses at Gearbox nerfed the ledge glitch, so it's not as effective as it was in the original 2009 version of the game

There is another spot that works better behind the elevator platform by the edge of the map. when they updated the game it changed the ledge spot a bit. It still works but it is a bit higher and harder to hit him when you are crouched.

which is bloody ironic, as Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai joked about the "ledge" in the Wam-Bam Island DLC, where they could hit him, but Crawmerax couldn't

Here is a youtube video that shows a new spot. He mentions in the video that the old spot does not work but I have tried it and it does still but this one is a bit easier to hit him.

I just don't DO Crawmerax anymore. That mission was designed for co-op only. You can play it singleplayer, but you can't win it without cheating on that mode, and even then, it takes you over half a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HOUR. It's not fun. Challenging is one thing, but literally impossible? Again: NOT fun. Playing this mission honestly on singleplyer is pure willful masochism. LIke the briefing says (they are NOT kidding): You. Will. Die. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time.

I can do the ledge and kill Craw quite fast, sometimes the one minion will leap at you and knock you off before you can get there and sometimes Craw won't play along and kill you. It works most of the time, as soon as the elevator gets past the red force field you need to run and don't jump at the wrong time or you will go very high into the air. Once you are crouched at the ledge take out your S&S Orion and shoot the edge of the farthest point on the rock pillar left of him. You could be right about it not working for Brick idk, I never shoot directly at him for the first shot, after my first shot at the rock he will either be good or bad.

I will test it once I get Brick there.
