First thing I can think of: (This didn't do ♥♥♥♥ for me btw, but you can try this first)
Desktop > right-click > display settings > graphics settings > browse > add "BorderlandsGOTY" app > options > select "high performance"
Second: This is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ w/ the game files part
this involves a little bit of editing, sort of worked, the frame rate dies in some areas for me, but it also depends on PC imo
D:/My Games/Borderland Game of the Year/WillowGame/Config/WillowEngine > press ctrl+F > type in MinSmoothedFrameRate and you'll notice that it has a number next to it (it's usually 62), set that to 0, then under that there's MaxSmoothedFrameRate set that to 0 as well. bSmoothedFrameRate should say FALSE but in case it doesn't set it to FALSE. Then save this file (upper left corner > file > save)
if anything gets screwed verify the game files and all the game files will be back to normal
Can't find anything under bSmoothedFrameRate so not sure what to do about that. However, I'll test the above recommendations. Thank you.
Follow up, 110% worked. Thank you again so much for this. It was the answer I absolutely needed.
