Local Co-op Splitscreen

If there is ANY way to use local co-op let me know! I just wanna play this amazing game with my friend but I don't know if or how to!

Nope, and ill save you the trouble and also add that Local Co-op is mostly not a thing for PC gaming.

The only exception is Local LAN play which is what Borderlands does do, and the very very VERY rare exceptions where a game has some sort of crazy "player 1 uses the left side of the keyboard, player 2 uses the right" setup which is about as awful as it sounds.

Generally speaking "Local Co-Op" almost exclusively means Split screen, which is a console only thing.

Nucleus CoOp - https://www.nucleuscoop.com/ - this is what you're looking for. I haven't tried it with the Enhanced edition, so I'm not sure if it works with this version, but you will be able to play split screen via one monitor (or two) with two different sets of controls for each player.

That is the dumbest answer ever, not everyone has a pc and im not buying a seperate computer, the game, and buying him a mic. The entire point of splitscreen to hang out with someone IN REAL LIFE not over a mic.

Can I play coop with one copy through the steam family thing? I have 2 system's in the house and was thinking my kids and I could play coop with one game copy. Has anyone done that and how does the game recognize it? thanks

You cant play with them on the same game at the same time because only one person can use the same game on a account at a time.

Only for consoles because they don't care about taking the time for pc players. (BTW if anyone says that I am wrong, just look at the lack of effort for the mutiplayer, IT DOESNT EVEN WORK RIGHT!)

thanks for the info, I went with xbox and since each of my kids and I have our own gamertag on the same acct, I just bought it digital once and we can all use it.

That is nice, pc is great and the games are good. But there is a HUGE lack of games with co-op. There is a game called Left 4 Dead 2 That can be 2 player if you can plug up 2 ps4 controllers to the pc, the game is a amazing fps zombie shooter that requires team work of 4 survivors to make it out alive I HIGHLY suggest that you check it out because it is also on xbox, but the pc gets sales, (it can sometimes be $1.99) and you get all the dlc for free and a workshop on pc. (Workshop lets you download virus free mods for games)

Your right! A few years ago my brother and I played online pc coop and beat the game, I can't remember if it was 1 or 2 but we had a blast. My kids aren't ready for that yet. In fact after they played borderlands several hours yesterday coop and enjoyed it, one mentioned it was too much blood. So we are taking a break from gun games, we have plenty of other fun games.

In left 4 Dead 2 you can turn off gib (body parts dont fall off) and turn down blood, I think thats also in borderlands settings.
