I click resume, it says DOWNLOAD started, then immediate;y pauses and shows the RESUME button again.
files all verified....I cant even bring up the launcher now, to fail to launch.
There is nothing wrong with my disc drive. Verified by AVAST system Maintenance.
So do NOT uninstall and try to reinstall.
That also removes the forced AD popping up...luckily the other games this stupid tactic has affected can also be removed in a similar manner. Such a shame that they manage to ruin the previous games and even brick it for some...

Yeah. Breaking the old games, just to try to sell us a new woke groomer game. .... They seem to be quiet desperate, though.
Maybe the Epic exlusive "ransom move" does not pay off as well as they thought.
I wanted to buy this game for under 10 bucks because of that. But putting an ad in my face in the old games makes me despise it even more. If that is even possible.
I think now they have to pay me, to play their game. Because I had to put work in to restore the mods in BL 2. I hate it, if an unnecessary update breaks the mods.
