Co-op lag

Game runs fine solo but with my friend it's pretty much unplayable with how badly it lags. Anyone know why or how to fix?

Same problem, playing solo run fine but with my friend laggin all time and if my friend creates the party i have lag and if me create the game he have lag

This issue is caused by the abnormal packages sent from the vocal chat. So you need to disable it totally:

Go to the Borderlands: GOTY Enhanced Edition Config folder:
Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\WillowGame\Config

Open the Config folder and open WillowEngine.ini in Notepad.

Search for the [VoIP] settings — locate the line “HasVoiceEnabled=True”

Change the line to “HasVoiceEnabled=False” and save the file.

Right-click and mark the .ini file to “READ ONLY“.

Please make sure that all your team mates make the same! Otherwise you'll always have lag.

Wish I could say this worked for me, but when I do it, it won't let me even launch the game.

I would add that launcher will have problems finding the file after the changes but game will worked perfectly, just click back then play and "b" in “bHasVoiceEnabled=False” has to stay

My config folder doesnt have a WillowEngine.ini - instead theres a "DefaultEngine.ini", and theres also no HasVoiceEnabled option in that file
