Am i able to transfer my characters between the enhanced edition and the regular to unlock all the achievements for both?

You cannot transfer saves from enhanced back to the original without the use of third-party software. On top of this only certain achievements will transfer over from original to enhanced.

If you really want achievements for both games it is advised to beat the game on the original and get all achievements there, and then come back to the enhanced edition.
