Game keeps crashing

Everytime I go anywhere, except for Fast Travelling, the game crashes. (Example: Walking from Fyrestone to Skag Gully) I made a new game and I'm on the Nine Toes mission, and I can't fast travel there because I haven't discovered the location yet.

Bonus: On one of my saves (I play that one mainly) I have a bunch of modded stuff to see what I can willowtree in. Could that be the issue? It had a lot of broken modded stuff from the original GOTY transferred into the enhanced, could that be the problem causing it?

what do you mean by " broken modded stuff " ?

if your new save doesn't crash, there's your answer.
p.s. the Fast Travel network doesn't become available for some time, be patient.

I've recently imported my lvl69 Lilith save, which was an experimenting save with lots of stock weapons, shields, etc. A lot of the items are invisible, and when I equip other weapons, they're basically corrupted, like if I equip an smg i have, it goes from lvl69 to no level and turns invisible.

My new save does crash

I am also having these issues. I'm also on the Nine Toes mission and it keeps crashing for me.

by the way, if your modded gear is invisible, it means you're not using the right parts.
keep trying.

The only invisible stuff is my modded class mod, my ajax ogre (legit but i willowtreed it in) and my Stock Repeater

and weapons that I equip, but they're certain weapons, which is weird.

Ya game just crashed for me I just started a new lilith and only level five and when I was trying to go to skag gully after destroying the baracde the game just crash with this long log I was unable to read it because it closed my game so this is new I am not using anything modded and running and integrity check to see if anything is missing because even steam sometimes installs a game without all the files it has happened before, the check was clean so not sure what the problem is... Would be really nice if gearbox with fix this game once and for all so we can have a little glimmer of hope that there is still some support for this game!

Game worked again but it’s so random and really wish they would fix and patch of this game and have some support for it still...Heck titan quest for example was redone and finished in 2006 then they added more stuff when Nordic bought it and asked us what we wanted and granted what was asked and that was 2016 and that’s ten years later and still update and support it so not sure why gearbox won’t do the same just a few guys to fix up the little issues and fix them we aren’t asking much and heck we bought the game and the least they could do is support us and their game by fixing these issues!

I'm going to copy and paste the solution that worked for me.

"After that, if the issue persists let's try to run the game on Compatibility Mode:

Load Steam, and from the Library section, right-click on the game and select “Properties” from the menu.

Select the “Local files” tab and click the "browse local files" button.

Within that local folder, find the correct .exe file for the corresponding game and right-Click the .exe file and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility".

Set compatibility mode for a different Windows version, such as 7 or 8.1."

The character selection menu gets really slow using this solution, currently waiting for a reply for a possible solution.

Haven't tested this for very long but it seems to work so far for me, I hope it works for you too.

Keeps crashing. Eh, I'll just uninstall. back to GOTY

You would need to do that for both the game exe and launcher exe. I can't blame you if you've already moved on to the GOYT version though.
