Still no fix for the Multiplayer lag?

i think there is a fix somewhere, i came here looking for it as gothalian was talking about the lag issues and said he fixed it by doing something

i heard that you can "fix it" by looking the fps and the refresh rate for all players at 60 hz/60fps
and yet it will not fix everything...looks like they have a bad netcode ported from the consoles...
thats just lazy

okay i found a fix
this should fix it.

"So apparently a main part of the lag in BL1 Enhanced co-op play is due to the VOIP using a extreme amount of packets(even when you "turn it off"). So how do you fix it? Look no futher!

Go into your BL Enhanced Config folder Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\WillowGame\Config
open Willowengine.ini (with notepad etc) and use the search function (CTRL F)
search for bHasVoiceEnabled=True
Replace "True" with False
Save file
Rightclick willowengine.ini open properties
Make it read only (near the bottom under attributes)
Fixed it for me and my friends, worth a shot!

Edit: Make sure everyone in your group does the fix or it may not work."

If you lock the FPS and Refresh rate at 60 for all players, it should give you a better experience...
but i tried it..
and still far from a absolute fix..
but it should help for now

I have no bHasVoiceEnabled I did everything you said and says cannot find bHasVoiceEnabled

did you look for it in the "willowengine.ini" ?
there are many files with similar names..
I just did it here...waiting for my friend to test it

Ok found my problem there was a space before the b so gonna fiix it now :)!

This actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fixed it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I love that people still have to edit ini and rig ♥♥♥♥ in the "official" remaster.

thing is leaving it as read only can make it some the game won't start properly so I set it back to the original with the fix. No it working fine and my friends are having little to no lag! Thanks!!!
