I don't even notice a difference with melee damage either so it may be broken.
Though you'd think they'd put in the visual indicator of it having an effect on your skills in the Remastered along with the minimap.
I honestly thought it did or that they would update it to show the over cap and bonus like in BL2. Its been so long since I played 1 I wasnt sure but im glad its working like it should even if it doesnt show it.
and yea I was really hoping they would have added that feature but they did not so you gotta live with it
bonusses are as usual still applied just not shown
I have skills that are not maxed, but have a point in the skill, so I could see if it raised the number on the character sheet. It does not.
Class mod bonuses will NEVER show in your skill tree regardless of the amount of points you have invested in it, but the bonuses from class mods will still ALWAYS be applied statistically. If you don't believe me, test it out with a skill and class mod that affects damage and go shoot some enemies.
I swear some of you people never played the original game...
There is a bit of good news is that mods that seems to apply increases to shield capacity and shield regen seem to be working. Also, where the bonus is applied to just one weapon type it seems to be working, For example the Mercenary Class Mod increases SMG damage as it says in the descriptive text.
Another odd case is that the Specialist Maliwan Enhancement Mod(mentioned above) should grant Weapon Damage and Shield Capacity. The damage increase doesn’t work, but the shield increase does. So the mod still has some use, but is not nearly as helpful as would be suggested by the description. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix the problem?
I checked my Professional COM and various others that increase magazine capacity and all of them are working correctly. The damage buff is apparent too. I'm not sure what issue you're having because all is good on my end. Keep in mind bonuses to mag' capacity will not always net you extra rounds if the base amount of the weapon's magazine is already low and the % of increase from your COM isn't high enough to increase it. For example, no amount of bonus from a COM is going to turn a 2-shot revolver or shotgun into a 3 or 4, etc.
