Borderlands GOTY Enhanced will not launch

My game Borderlands GOTY Enhanced will not launch.
I tried to veryfy cache files, it didn't fix the issue.
I installed the regular game just Borderlands GOTY and it launches fine.
Please help me resolve this issue.

What GPU driver version?

Same i keep getting Initialization Error :\

EDIT:- try opening your file browser -> your steam folder -> steamapps -> common -> borderlandsgotyenhanced -> binaries -> win64 -> and just run borderlandsgoty.exe.
if it works then the problem is from the launcher

Can confirm DarkGhost's method works, use the application that lists at 41008kb, just doubleclick and away you go, only thing that came in to play was my anti virus (web root) asked for permisions, otherwise its playable if a bit of a pain.

I have the same problem. I have verified, removed and reinstalled, deleted ini files and redownloaded them while verifying and nothing works. I also can´t start the game from using the .exe in win64, I only get the same error. If anyone has any other ideas I would be grateful

seems both BL GOTY + BL GOTY Enhanced have this problem

No it isn't the problem, after the launcher when the program is starting up and the splash screen is showing instead of launching the game itself I get this error and it happens even if I try and start the game without the launcher as well. I have already played 8 hours since release so this just error just happened today which is also weird since I haven't installed any new software since last time I played

Guys don't expect the game to work if you dont have the minimum system requirements.

Not much of an enhanced edition if it doesn't run on a system that runs BL.

Uhm, the game textures are 4K, so it requires a more powerful PC to run. It is called Enhanced because of the updated graphical quality.

Your comparing a 2009 release gate to a 2019 release with higher demands.

The game should run and those textures are optional. We are all stuck at the launcher error, nearly identical to the B2 version talked about here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/49520/discussions/0/846941710298663739/?ctp=2

I successfully ran the game by running the exe in the game directory as an administrator.

The textures are not optional for the enhaned edition, its only optional for Borderlands 2.

The only way this works is if you go to steam library, common, and then to borderlands goty enhanced, then binaries and run the game as administrator. no other way.

Isn't the case, works fine for me running it from steam.

Windows 10 (up to date)
Nvidia Card (up to date drivers)
