Co-Op Lag
I don't know if anyone has found out any definite fixes to co-op lag. My issue is "my" shots not registering well, I can unload half a clip on an enemy and they take no damage, the only way I kind of got around it was rapid clicking my shots instead of holding down auto fire.

I didn't know if there were any 3rd party LAN/VPN-style programs that could assist in connection stabilization. I tried MudFish but there was no BL1 section.

Also, side note, I can't hear people talk in-game even with voice enabled?

Edit: This seems to help people as posted below

"So apparently a main part of the lag in BL1 Enhanced co-op play is due to the VOIP using a extreme amount of packets(even when you "turn it off"). So how do you fix it? Look no futher!

Go into your BL Enhanced Config folder Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\WillowGame\Config
open Willowengine.ini (with notepad etc) and use the search function (CTRL F)
search for bHasVoiceEnabled=True
Replace "True" with False
Save file
Rightclick willowengine.ini open properties
Make it read only (near the bottom under attributes)
Fixed it for me and my friends, worth a shot!

Edit: Make sure everyone in your group does the fix or it may not work."

I cant believe a game pushed as being heavily co op has been shat out and not fixed yet. The least they can do for the epic store betrayal is make sure this remaster works flawlessly. I doubt they care at this point, wont be getting my money for BL3 even when it comes to Steam. Screw em.

Same, although only in the 2nd PT which I tried just now. I can't do any damage & even had an enemy stood in front of me healing while I was in FFYL shooting him. Completely broken & unplayable along with the lag. First time it's been this bad. I'll stick to PT1 where the game is playable. I hope this doesn't happen with BL3, having to use save & profile editors, running scripts just to kill sponges. I thought they would have learnt from UVHM in BL2, I guess not.

I have heard a few people talk, but I'd rather not tbh. Then in other games the little speaker icon shows, but there's no sound. Maybe it's their settings, not mine (or yours)? Unless you're playing with friends, I doubt you're missing out.

The suggested fix to the voice worked for me and my friends. Took 3 minutes tops.

This worked for me. Very quick. Playing on SteamDeck OLED
i got my lag to go away by changing it from 4K to 1440p, disabling start up videos, setting fps to 60, and disabling the in-game voice chat--all through the game settings. it hasn't come back since, and i've been doing co-op for 10+ hours.

Keep in mind that on top of this problem the hit registration of BL is crap. The ammount of times you aim for a head and shoot straight to it in BL is a clownfiesta from start to finish.
