i wouldnt mind it as much if like they at least dumbed down the fight in some way like making the mobs not stupidly tough but they just kept everything the same

dunno I never really enjoyed the end of any borderlands aka lvl 72 or overpower levels but in bl 1 I dont think other than crawmerax you can find a challenge at max lvl (I dont know what the end boss is like now tho)

i think the only major challenges in borderlands 1 was mad moxxis 20 rounders and crawmerax but man crawmerax has alot of daft mechanics like having to only hit him in his crit spots at least borderlands 2 bosses were bullet sponges

but i agree with both tbh the glitch should still be there for the meme if you want to fight him legit just dont use the glitch hell i know i need it cause i dont have any pals with level 69 characters

So they fixed that bug, but not the drops for those achivements in the claptrap DLC.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I killed Crawmerax.
If you consider it a bug, then the "ledge bug" is NOT fixed.

Maybe its only my memory, but I remember the bug to be different on original BL1.

I just go to the corner with phasewalk, sneak, wait for the phasewalk cooldown and start to attack it. Most of the time it does not attack, but sometimes it does. Then just use Phasewalk again.
If only the back part exists, then try to run to his side and wait until you see the blue part.
If it attacks use Phasewalk again to go to the corner.


If you have bad gear: you can get the necessary items from the vault chests. The vault chests ARE NOT UNIQUE. They spawn an infinite amount of time.
I am not 100% sure what causes it, but here is a solution how you can spawn the vault chests:
Teleport to T-Bone Junction, exit the game, start the game, teleport to eridian promontory, fight your way through it and go the the vault (NOT by teleporter).
The chests will be there (without the boss).

Beside promontory being the best location to farm exp, it now is also awesome to farm the vault chests.

BTW the chests ALWAYS contain 1 eridium weapon.
