afaik enemy specific loots don't exist in BL1 but are there any farmable bosses?

^ Also not a boss run but the old General Knoxx glitch where you can stop the clock and loot like 50+ chests every time. I don't know if it is still working in the remaster I'm not there yet.

I find killing Ajax in Road's End (Secret Armory DLC) can get you some nice Combat Rifles with x2-x4 Elements (I've only seen Shock at x3 personally) sometimes, and super rarely it can drop as an Ogre. I find my x3 Shock Ajax's Spear to be potent enough to do Crawmerax with.

Edit: Not a boss but if you complete the Claptrap's Revolution DLC, you're allowed to go into a chest room to recieve payment for helping. You can reset as much as you like with no glitches, just don't have in the quest and you can farm free Red Chests in Tartarus Station.
