xbox controller support?

All of my other Steam games are working fine with my USB xbox controller. The new Borderlands GOTY Enhanced won't recognize the controller, it's only letting me use the keyboard and mouse. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Does the game support a controller? (the original release did!)

Works on my end with my wireless elite controller.

Works on my end with my wired USB xbox controller. I didn't have to change any settings; it just worked.

Works even better than original BL1 for me. The original still showed keyboard prompts when I used a controller, but the remastered BL1 is finally showing xbox prompts.

I use Dualshock 4 and it works flawlessly.

I have the same issue, my DS4 works for everything but this remaster.. the menu even swaps the prompts when I press a button or the D-pad but won't take input.

Try using Steam's own controller configurator if you're having issues.
