Do achievements transfer over?

sort of? when i imported my level 69 Hunter i had a ton of achievements pop so if you import & load the character they seem to, but possibly not all of them?

I'm currently playing Borderlands Enhanced Edition and I was wondering, if I could import my save from the enhanced edition to the old version and if so, will I get the achievements?

Some did for me, others didn't.

I have completed 64 achievements in the original BL and about 20 achievements carried over when I imported my level 69 (all missions completed in Playthrough 1 and 2) Roland.

It seems that due to some new things introduced in the Enhanced version, you cannot bring those save games back to the original one... thus the achievements would also not transfer.

I carried achievements also, but not all of them. One thing I noticed is that ach are character related. i.e. if you completed the main game with Roland and a DLC with Lilith - you need to import both AND start the game in the respective game/DLC.
