Audio Issues (SOLVED)
Is anyone experiencing issues with only being able to hear audio during cutscenes? I'm trying to figure out if this is just more or not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hey my friend is having a similar issue to what you described. He gets audio during the opening intros (2K, gearbox, nvidia) but then no menu audio. He gets audio only in the opening cutscene with Marcus on the bus and then no audio again when the game loads. We don't know how to fix it either but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. Does our experience match yours?

Yup, matches it perfectly. I've scoured the internet for hours trying to find a solution and can't figure anything out. However, I get audio as soon as I plug my headphones in, which is very strange. I don't know if this helps at all towards solving the issue.

I've had audio issues were it just cuts off for no reason in the middle of a tape or something.

I've had issues with echo recordings muting suddenly, and incoming communications getting cut off, but not what you're experiencing.

Bump, if anyone knows a solution to this, that would be greatly appreciated! I still can't seem to find any fixes for it

Hey, so I finally found a solution to the issue, and I wanted to post it in case this helps anyone else.
Basically, I had a program called "Sonic Studio" running in the background of my computer which was essentially forcefully making my audio play through something else. All I had to do was exit it and my sound immediately starting working again.
I'm only mentioning this because I know a lot of computers come with programs like Sonic Studio pre-installed, and I wanted to share my solution since I know this is a fairly common issue. I hope this helped someone!
