Can i transfer save from original BL1?
I have been playing BL 1 the last 5 days because i had no patience but since this is a seperate game can i transfer that save file? Or do i have to start over?

They said you could. But how? No clue. Unless it's a console only feature.

There's an import option in-game. Just transfered my saves.

yes, when you want to start a game, it'll ask if you want to import your characters from the original borderlands game.

Unless you want the better ui there really is no reason to play the original. You lose your mini map, easier to setup Fov, 60 fps, item junk/favorite system, auto pick up floor items, etc.

Item Junk/Favorite system's kinda screwed up anyway; it doesn't favorite items—it LOCKS them against accidentally selling as junk, which is NOT "favoriting." You see stars when you look at favorites, the way hormone-saturated youths see hearts when they see each other…for similar reasons, actually.
