Is there a hidden shop(vendor) in New Haven?

There's shop icon on the map, but only shutter gate there.
How can i see & use the hidden vending machine?

Nobody can figure out what actions/quests/levels will allow the shop to open. I for example are lvl 61 in my 2nd playthrough and its Open for me.

I don't think that is what they are talking about.

There is a special Weapon Vending machine that sometimes appears across the street from the building Marcus is in. I used it last night. I had just finished some quests for Crazy Earl, current quest for him is to get Skag in a can. Not sure what triggers the machine to show up though.

Its random, sometimes it shows up sometimes it does not, its always worth checking it if its there as it somtimes has legendary's or a double anarchy in it.

Hmm, I thought it showed up after the 1st Marcus mission but then went away after a few more levels. I’m headed there with a new toon, I’ll try and catch when it shows & goes

It doesn't appear to be entirely random. It would seem after completing Marcus's missions and then warping from Middle of Nowhere to New Haven will trigger it most of the time from everything I have read.

Its there if you dont fast travel. Enter via rust commons west, (you hear a kinda electronic buzz when u pass under the street lamp. Not sure if its related I tracked the cable but it appears unrelated.) Either way. The vending machine is available when you enter new haven.

Oh, it's been a while since I first posted this question, and the kind guys have responded a lot. thank you Dear all respondents. I've already enjoyed this game enough times, but seeing this passion makes me want to give it another go.

yeah, i've scored quite a few Defiler's from that machine, including getting an Unforgiven during one occasion (which even surprised the hell out of me)
