How do I disable cell shading?
In borderlands 2 and TPS you can change the defaultpostprocess in the williowengine ini file to remove cell shading. On top of making the game look better in my opinion, it also made the game run better on low-end computers like mine. But I can't find the defaultpostprocess in this games williowengine ini file. Is it not something you can change in this game?

Hey there!

It's practically the same method as in Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel.
  • Go to: \Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\WillowGame\Config

  • Open "WillowEngine.ini"

  • Locate "DefaultPostProcessName=WillowEngineMaterials.WillowScenePostProcess"

  • Change it to some of your favorite. (Remember to make a copy of your file).
This are the options:

1. Default:
DefaultPostProcessName=WillowEngineMaterials.WillowScenePostProcess

2. RyanScenePostProcess:
DefaultPostProcessName=WillowEngineMaterials.RyanScenePostProcess

3. ScenePostProcess:
DefaultPostProcessName=EngineMaterials.ScenePostProcess

4. CinematicScenePostProcess:
DefaultPostProcessName=WillowEngineMaterials.CinematicScenePostProcess

In your case, the best option is number 4.

Edit: If you can't find the DefaultPostProcessName line in your WillowEngine.ini file, try run the game and make some changes in video settings, this will force the game to save settings in your WillowEngine.ini file.

Cheers!

Aha! Changing some video options did indeed make it show up in the ini file, thank you very much!

Not working how? As in you changed it but it didn't work? Or you can't find the DefaultPostProcessName in the file?

it didn't work. I did everything as in guide, but cell shading is still in game.

Updated: I just changed it in the different folder, this is why it did not work =D
