Phoenix Bug?

Ive had an entire game session where my Phoenix skill for Lilith (+8) seemed to be just overpowered in terms of damage, oneshotting Badass Brutes at lvl 48 just because I existed near them, however in my next session its damage was Greatly reduced to seemingly reasonable amounts, is there some bug revolving this skill that would just ramp up its damage to stupid amounts?

This was on Playthrough 2, Its literally been a walk in the park as enemies die the second I approach them.

It just killed Hanz & Franz with Phoenix by standing besides them >~< they lost health in chunks of 40%

you're probably chain-killing the weaker enemies to keep the Phoenix skill active

Im not saying that the skill is lasting too long, im saying it seems to be stacking its damage to stupid amounts, killing bosses in under 3 seconds.

Yeah, that's certainly not normal. It's not supposed to stack like that. Lilith is my second most played in the 2009 version, and I've never experienced anything like that. Haven't played her in this version yet....."Ever seen a siren in action? Here's your chance!"
