As someone about have mentioned, you most likely have to force the game to run with dedicated graphic card.

For windows 10, just search for Graphic Setting, add the game and set it to High Performance.
For other windows, use the Nvidia control panel to set preferred graphic card for the game.

maybe you need a ssd
i do have an ssd, my laptop can run it but i just want to know what settings i have to change with the amd radeon settings for the game to run well, it dosent have to run polygon perfect. I just got this gaming laptop so thats why i am asking about how to mess around with the graphics settings.

Try lowering the resolution and playing the game in full screen. Windowed and borderless is more taxing on the processor. I’d also recommend not running other programs to avoid performance loss.

You can also check Nvidia Control Panel and see if your 3D settings for your GPU are set to optimal, which is ideal.

I have an AMD FX 6300 and a Geforce GTX 970. Not all animations don't look like 60 FPS to me (haven't measured it, though), but apart from that the game runs perfectly for me. I also only have 8 GB of RAM. The game is installed on an SSD, so I guess that's the only thing where my system beats yours. (Unless you have a lower end GPU.)

I didn't optimize anything. I've set the game to use FXAA, but the rest is set to max at 1080p.

Do you play at a much higher resolution? Unless that's the case I don't see why the game should be running poorly for you. :/

Set the game to window mode, this fixed it immediately for me.

If you are on a laptop with a graphics card and it's choppy then it's probably using the integrated graphics on the chip instead of your card. Look up online how to force the game to use your card. It depends on your specific graphics card.

Idk if you got all DLC but try uninstalling them ? i went from like 20 fps to 60-ish something

That made me laugh XD.
I just got this laptop and i dont know anything about the graphics card settings but now i believe that there is something wrong with the game itself because i just checked the local files and it had to redownload a few files but i have had to do this a few times. I hope this is patched in the future.

I just turned off Bloom in the settings and automatically got far better performance, still gets a bit choppy during portrait cut ins sometimes but its barely noticeable
