Welcome to SD Gundam G Gen. You'll have to play Stage 1s of story to gain credits through story characters.

note about that, Mikazuki has a really quick Get bar, however it only unlocks him as a pilot and not Barbatos

I would've liked to know this before I lost one of my Phoenix Gundams to be honest.

Yeah this mechanic would only be known to long-time players. There aren't any mention of losing units upon death as far as I know. Unless you specially selected tutorial I think. I haven't checked it so I'm not sure if it's mentioned in it though.

Be glad you dont lose the pilot at least :P

From my own experience, the idea that your unit can suffer from permadeath goes as far back as the Gather Beat series for the Wonderswan (I started G Gen there).

@Rissian you can always do a challenge where if your MS goes down, your pilot must reset to lvl 1. Not truly character death, but a full reset is close enough.

Patrick Colasour resses with 1 hp when he dies, just clone him and run an battle group of him. Though just make sure he doesn't die twice in one battle.

I unlocked Barbatos stage one but its not as good without Mika or another pilot with the AV system. It's pretty cheap too.

If you send units to dispatch missions, make sure you have spares. You can recall them, but now its bedtime so oh well lol.

Wait there is perma-death in this game?
Shear Nov 28, 2019 @ 11:56pm
No, you keep your Pilot and all their Skills and lvls but if your Mech blows up it's gone. Hurts less with a LVL 1 Mech but sucks bad with a higher lvl one.

if you lose a unit you lose the pilot and the unit if you lose a unit inside a mission restart the mission you'll get it back do not complete the mission or the loss is permanent
this game doesn't have a proper tutorial so people jump into a mission right off the bat and die

the easiest mission I found is the iron blooded orphan mission first one on the longest campaign it's not the easiest for the storyline character though it's possible for you to get killed how you complete the first mission to attack your primary target defend from his attack try to dodge the range attack after you kill your primary target move up to the range character but don't attack when he tries to attack you counter attack him then attack him then you win

then you get into the sortie battle that's where you can summon your own units
there's 3 enemies that do have bean coating though so you want to use machine guns on them we are unique from all the other enemies at spawn and their group is a purplish color use funnels missiles and machine guns to kill them
once you get the hang of the mission you should be able to complete it within 20 minutes

I tried to return the raid unit to a mother ship for repair during battle, its quite effective, it only take 1 turn to fully recover their health

have you got the deluxe version of the game you get to DLC dispatch missions if you complete them both you'll receive an item which allows you to upgrade your battleship to add four more units to it I just took my second group apart and moved them over to my battleship

I recommend making a custom character and try to get double repair it recovers energy and health by 10%

the crew currently on your battleship is really good I recommend leaving that alone but when it comes to your mobile suits you can make custom characters make them better
