Riding dragons sucks.

Yeah. It sucks. You can't even steer. The dragon just circles around and you "may choose your destination." You can't fight. You can only order your dragon to do so. ♥♥♥♥ YOU BETHESDA, I loved the rest of Dragonborn DLC but WELL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DONE on the dragon riding. For those of you who haven't played Dragonborn and wonders if it's worth buying, the answer is yes. But don't get your hopes up regarding the dragon riding like I did.

Yea they did a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ job with the whole dragon riding thing. I can understand if they made it that way for a final battle with Miraak. I would have loved to fight miraak dragon to dragon style. However, outside of that when i'm doing my own thing I would have liked to actually control and ride a dragon not just sit back and watch him perform the same aerial maneuvers over and over again.

Yea its not like i'm complaining or anything I loved the DLC itself. Nostalgia hit me like a wave. The dragon riding is a disappointment, but I know the modding community will turn it into something Skyrim fans can be proud of.

You guys have too much faith in the modding community... If there is a modder out there who can improve the dragon riding, he would be "the best" modder ever, because all the mods out there are mainly graphical... The mods out there that do look like they change gameplay only use EXISTING gameplay on new graphical objects.

Remember those broom riding and car driving mods? Those mods are just the horse with a different texture and model.


Basically the modders can't do what is not already in the game.

So.... they just reskin a horse to look like a dragon and the dragon horse thing will be able to attack stuff o_o

I only have done it once..Its not perfect, but it is the introduction of flying dragons and I presume that in future downloadable content, expansion packs and/or mods they will expand on the dragonflying capabilities in skyrim.
