Best Alternative to Nexus Mod Manager?

Last time I played through Skyrim I used the Nexus Mod Manager to install my mods but now it seems to be completely unusable (it crashes constantly and corrupts my fomod files). What is everyone else using to manage their mods?

Yeah, and that was, like, July... I dunno, why make new threads when old ones work fine? It's not like I was complaining about something new, that's been fixed, or whatever. Nexus Mods are scum, they don't care, it is how it is. No point in starting new whine threads.

the only problem with mod organizer is that it has a problem with running 64 bit programs (like ASIS skyproc patcher). Other than that, it's pretty great.

MO can run 64bit Java. They just need to be limited to 1GB. Argument is: -Xmx1024m

It's a private website, their servers, their rules.

NMM and MO rely on NXM-adress/extension. Their web features are tied to Nexus. MO could be more flexible, but there is no direct support for that.

You can use both managers to install mods outside from Nexus by downloading files to HD and then using manager to install them. I have mods from blogs and other sites. I just need to check mod updates from site notifications and blog rss-feeds to see them.

Free speech has two functions, for one it protects you from the government while expressing your views, two it allows you to express said views in public.

Nexus has a user account system and it treated akin a private room like a livingroom or a bar. In those settings freedom of speech doesn't apply because there is no government nor a public space. So learn your rights before calling on them.

As for a direct IP ban for a first offence, that's just wrong. You appealed?

I understand your position, but you have stated reading and accepting Nexus rules when registering there. The "One account per person"-policy is clearly stated there. Same page gives instructions for unban appeals.

It is wise to read such pages in any similar site, to avoid cases like this in the future. Hopefully others wii now notice to check that page again.

That's no valid defence or excuse. Also house rules are way easier to read then EULA's. You should be able to muster the time to read house rules.
