Frostbite spider- scary?

I don't know abou you but I am terrified of the frostbite spiders. What do you think of them?

You know, one of the first mods you'll see in any of these kinda games is one to remove spiders/insects... course that back fires at times, like the "spiderdogs" of DA2.

I hate critters that sneak up on you, like wolves or sabre cats, or even skeevers. They really give me a start, and I get a cramp in my shoulder. Haven't seen spiders do that so I'm fine with them.

Call me crazy but I find them to be cute.
It might be because I live in Sweden where there are no poisonus spiders and thus do I not have any instinctual fear for them?
I don't know but I'd like to have a frostbite spider as an in-game pet.

That was me when I had to go into the Fade in DA:I, but those spiders are much worse than the frostbite spiders, mainly because I prefer tarantulas to the other creepy things.

I don't find the spiders scary. They're kinda weak and such though having them leap at you is bad. Scariest thing for me is skeletons.

You should get Immersive Creatures then. The Tundra Spiders are a lot tougher than the Frostbite Spiders.

I can deal with the spiders (though yeah, in Requiem they are way tougher, even if you switch off paralysis from the venom - I do keep the visual disturbance on, though) but chaurus are just... *shudders* And the ones that hatch from the... gloopy... things. UGH.

I remember meeting them the first time when I was playing on a console. I avoided them as much as I could, but there's certain points where you just need to stab them in their eyes. When I found out they just run around, much like chickens, and don't do any of that web you in or run over the wall/roof ♥♥♥♥, I stopped taking them so seriously. Note there's mods that replace spiders or remove them from levelled lists completely.

pro tip: you can one shot the giant spider in that dungeon when you go for the horn of Jaegermeister if you sneak up on it

Try getting the Spider man mod, it turns all the spiders to a creepy crawling spider man .-.
