Trying to make a Barbarian, cant find any loincloths

Just run around in your underwear. Same thing. If you want more colors, just retexture the underwear. Or are you one of those that think loincloths should offer you protection?

IA - yep, I checked this out, there is a set in there that is EXACTLY what Im looking for.

But for some reason IA is screwing with the new game script. Horsecart turns into a rocket propelled rollercoaster. I guess I' can use LAL or just install it after leaving Helgen, but thats not the point!! I want all my mods to work with each other seamlessly.

But yea, IA has the *perfect* barbarian armor set. I was going to get the Conan set but who wants to travel all the way to Angi's camp to get it, bad design

Well, Im going to be running around in Legendary so yea, Im crazy like that, I'd like a lil protection.
Also I got a mod that changes my underwear to a speedo sooo...not very barbarianish

Guys I cant walk around in my speedos. Not because Im shy but because I can hear all the countless NPC comments already, it will throw me into a berzerker rage right in the middle of town. Then I'll get bounties and stuff. So far its looking like I'll be using LAL with IA or installing IA after Helgen. Bah.
Im not one for hardcore immersion but simply stopping the game to meta it will suck

That may be caused by your refresh rate and not necessarily any mod. Skyrim runs best at 60 FPS. If you have a monitor with a high refresh rate it will cause problems. You need to cap your FPS.

I've heard this before, but I have FRAPs running and it always shows a steady 60fps (sometimes lower in forested areas) but never higher.
I'll see about setting a cap on my monitor when I get home tonight, although this does make sense. I cant see why an armor mod would have any effect on startup performance of a new game

Last time I played a barbarian, I used my own mod. Makes bandit armor craftable at different tiers, and I wore the fur kirtle thingy.

Im not sure, you tell me. I had a setup that worked flawlessly until I added IA. Apparently LOOT left it at the bottom, so I did too...where in my order do you think it might work in a stable condition. Rather, is there a location in a load order where armors are placed? bingo, but as I mentioned, that armor isnt craftable its in a crate. I suppose I could go get it but I went for the immersive armor cause they had one that you can craft that looks very similar, but I think its a dragon armor variant (based on the pic) so it no good to me at all at the start of the game. Back to real armors. Anyway when I think about it, I'd get wrecked in every match until late teens in that get up
