Jumping While Fighting
So there is any kind of Mod that lets you jump and swing your weapon, cast a spell, or fire your bow? Because I think that if the Dovahkin can Slay the World Eater, Defeat the Vampire Lord Harkon, Conquer the Ancient Dragon Priest Mirrak, Have all the prestigous titles, and be the Keeper of the Daedric Artifacts; I would think that he could jump and swing a sword.
If theres a mod like that let me know please.

but how are you gonna put your weight behind the swing if your jumping!

You might be dragonborn but you're not Ezio Auditore. Assassin's Creed mod anyone?

Otherwise, I think that is a game engine limitation.

You might like Divinity 2 -- that has decent jump fighting.

I was thinking more like a overhead attack and not necessarily using a heavy weapon, and why not cast a spell or shout while jumping?
And it might be a engine limitation but i've seen some pretty crazy mods and I would think someone figure it out?

I don't think it's a bad idea at all, but think it would have been done by now (overhead jump attacks at the very least) if it was doable. But it doesn't hurt to ask.
Thats what I was thinking, but I've been scowering Nexus and havn't found anything so im starting think your right about it being a game engine limitation unfortunately :/

I've seen a mod that actually adds this on the Nexus, but I can't recall the name. You can only swing your weapon while jumping, though.

So the only way to swing a weapon is to jump?

Ah, sorry, I meant that you can't fire a bow or anything like that while jumping, but you can swing your sword while in the air.
oh ok, well if you remember the name or author of the mod that'd be great!

Gravity and momentum. Use the downward force to execute a vertical or diagonal swing with the weight of your falling body. It would however leave you pretty open to riposte.

Not to mention attacks of opportunity if you use Wildcat

Hmm, can you use Necromancy while jumping?
