Brighter interiors/indoors and nights
I know a lot of people want interiors/indoors and nights, but I want them brighter. Is there a way to do this without constantly toggling the brightness setting? Or is there at least a way to toggle the brightness with a hotkey? I know about the gamma console command, but I don't feel like messing with that all the time either.

There should be, no there IS quite a few mods that help this. If you can't find any on the workshop, look on nexus.

Most of the mods I've seen make things darker. There were some that made certain light sources brighter, but that's more noticeble with mods that make things darker. Claralux seems interesting, but it hasn't been updated in awhile and sounds buggy (I still might try it though). And a few that seemed to be designed mainly for the mods that make things darker, but maybe they'd still work. I'll have to reread the descriptions to make sure. I did just realize that the Imaginator mod has a function so you can assign the settings to assign the settings like spells so maybe I can set hotkeys for those. Here's the link to Imaginator if anyone else is interested:

There's also another mod that adds an MCM feature to Imaginator.

You could also just place a whole lot of mage light spells in your house to. Depends how long since the mod has been updated, if it's well over 2 years then i wouldn't suggest it but it'd be worth a shot!

@Calcifer: Thanks for the suggestions.
I reexamined one of the mods I passed up before:

It seems the mod does work without Realistic Lighting (a mod that makes things darker), it's just that the author recommends to use that mod.

Ah ok, hope it helps! Not being able to see things in your own house can be a pain, eh? :P

The only house I've used so far is a small shack to stash things in once in awhile, but now that I'm spending more time on screenshots I might look into something a bit nicer looking.

Try Windhelm, it has a pretty nice interior despite it's creepy backstory. Also if you have hearthfire, go to hjaalmarch, falkreath, etc. and build your own house!
