I'm looking for Netch leather and Chitin armor to make BONEMOLD and CHITIN armor. Where the heck
Where the heck is the Netch leather? Is this from a mod I added or is Netch leather somewhere in the game? I need it to make bonemold armor and Chitin armor (Need chitin plate for that) and I cannot find the netch, even in item lists. Anyone know?

Open console and type help netch 4 and the same for chitin except help chitin 4. That is if you don't want to wait.

It is not a mod, but one of the DLCs.

Look in the Island of Solsteim, from the Dragonborn DLC. I'm pretty sure you won't find those items anywhere else.

It says "compiled script not saved". I'm in Falskaar right now (a mod), so do I have to return to Skyrim?

Huh, I have Dragonborn although I have not started it. I cannot even find a item code for Netch leather. I just want to try it out.

I've never done the Falskaar mod, so I don't know for sure, but I suspect that you'll have to go back to Skyrim. AFAIK, getting to Solstheim for the first time can only be done by going to the Windhelm docks, then talking to the captain of the Northern Maiden about passage to Solstheim.

Chitin and Bonemold are from Solstheim/Dragonborn. Netches are found along coastal areas of Solstheim and merchants on Solstheim sell Netch Leather (and Chitin). Chitin, IIRC, comes from Ash Hoppers only. It's different than the Chaurus Chitin used to make Falmer gear.

I see. Thanks for the advice. When I get done with Falskaar (a most interesting mod) I'll head to Solsteim. I picked up almost 10 levels in Falkskaar, but perhaps not having gone to Solsteim has not opened the part of the game that allows for Netch and heavy chitin. Thanks all.

Netch leather is aquired from Netches. I thought that was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ simple and obvious.

You can find Netch on the NW coast but you do not get leather from the calves only the adults, and it is part of the Dragonborn DLC. There do not appear to be a lot of Netch about but rather than kill them you can also find Netch leather as part of loot or buy it.
