Favourite set of armor?
As title says, what is your favourite set of armor in the game? Single pieces don't count, I want full sets. If it's something not from Vanilla game, be sure to leave a link to the mod page/screenshot. Also tell us why do you love the armor.

For me, it has got to be Apotheus Light Armor:

I prefer Dragonbone armor. I know a lot of people don't like it because of how it looks and because it's not quite as good as daedric armor, but I like it due to the fact that it has a powerful psychological aspect to it.

For a moment, imagine that you're a dragon out in the wilderness of Skyrim. You see two pathetic mortals walking along a path and you decide to give these worms a taste of your majesty by facing them in combat. As you fly closer, you suddenly see that one of them is wearing armor made from the bones of other dragons. If you were that dragon, what might you think? If this mortal is powerful enough to kill the amount of dragons needed to forge a full suit of armor from their bones, what chance would a single dragon have?

Guild Master's Armor set is awesome. But I also love the Penitus Oculatus Armor and Ancient Falmer Armor too.

Daedric Reaper Armor. And before anyone goes, "Oh that's not even armor, I am the knight of all that is the rights of women's armor in fantasy games an-" just stop, it's not interesting. And I'm wearing it on a male.

The Ebony set. Very cool and dark armour and it's doesn't look overmade as much as daedric armour. Ebony armour is for modest and cool (mysterious) characters B)

For vanilla, I like Glass and Steel Plate. For mod, I like the Evil Mastermind armor, found on both nexus and workshop.

Depends on the character I'm playing. For ranger types, Bosmer Armor, for my Redguard Warrior, the Redguard Knight Armor, for a female darker, though not technically Necromancer, Imperial mage, Medusa Armor, female Breton Paladin, Heavy Holy Armor, Nord wlid mage/werewolf, Vagabond Armor, and so on. Of the vanilla armors, I really like the Vampire Lord Armor, Nightingale Armor, Glass Armor, and Nordic Carved Armor.

Vanilla, I like hide/studded/scaled, and glass, kinda, on the light side, plus the vampire armour (using practical female armour to give the ladies something more like the male version) and on heavy, steel plate, ebony, and sometimes orcish, plus Nordic Carved. Oh, and a mix of heavy and light Dawnguard pieces (NOT the goofy light helmet), possibly with an ebony helm, though the Heavy Dawnguard Helm looks decent, too.

Modded, I think the Runic Spellbinder set is fantastic, and Regal Assassin is fabulous. I'm rather fond of Dovahkiin's Journeyman Ranger, and the Yanyham set is pretty nice looking. Not exactly lore friendly, but TES armour has so many different times and places influencing its designs, I think it fits in okay. (Try to convince me the Nordic Carved set or even the Vampire set would look wildly out of place on a 21st century biker, I dare you... The bear helmet might be a bit niche, but stick a visor on it and Bob's your uncle.)

I don't much go for "sexy" armour (nothing really against it, just not my thing) but the Lustmord vampire armour is gorgeous, and I'm quite fond of the Barbarian armour (pretty much a topless version of the Iron set) on chaps, with either scaled boots and bracers, or steel/steel plate.

Oh, I also really like the Triss set (and I like that you can use it as a replacer for certain vanilla armours), and zzjay's wardrobe, and grace darkling's ranger set, and the black mage armour set.

Blackguard's armor until I can enchant my own armor.

Easy to get at level 1. Good defense and it has useful enchantments.

Oh... forgot the Spellbinder, my Altmer Necro will be using that one.
