Purple Textures

Title says it all. I have purple textures on book covers and and bottles of mead. I have 100 or so mods on, and it has been running fine with no crashes. I don't have any major ENBs installed, just a few mods for hair and creature textures. Does anyone know how to fix these purple textures?

Try moving Legacy of the Dragonborn lower in your load order. You may also want to try reinstalling the textures part of that mod. I dunno if it's definitely that, but I know it changes both those items, so it's a good bet. In my game, I keep it very low down, only things it needs patches for really come below it.

Just went through this myself. If your game is otherwise functioning normally, there are two possibilities:

1. You're missing textures. If the selfsame textures appear and the disappearance is random, this isn't the case.

2. You've maxed your VRAM and can not load more textures. If the appearance/disappearance is random and mostly happens in texture busy places, then this is probably the case. Texture mods don't show in your load orders if they're simple replacers, so do you have any loose file texture replacers? For me, disabling the snow and wet decals from Wet and Cold solved the problem. So, if any of your mods have graphics options, tick them down one at a time until you get the desired results.

I got it working, after testing around with all my mods, i found out the best thing to do was to delete Legacy of the Dragonborn, when i did everything was back to normal. Thanks guys!
