Also, Beyond: Skyrim uses only Skyrim assets entirely (I think, its been a while since i last checked it) and ownership of past games isnt required as all the stuff is modded in from scratch with esm, esp, bsa, and scripts like any other Skyrim mod
Edit: and I don't see any reason it requires a steam version of Morrowind. Hopefully they will have an option to stick a disc in.
My first build in Skywind must be a Battle-Mage.
You also need (according to the develpers) a half decent rig to run Skywind.
The requirements for this mod/overhaul:
Game: Skywind
CPU: i5 2400 3.1GHz
GPU: GTX 560 1GB
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz
HDD: 1TB 7200RPM
Average framerate (Exteriors): 43
Average framerate (Interiors): 60
-Lag spikes in the Bitter Coast
Am I still excited... err, no.
I never played Morrowind of Oblivion and I still look forward to it alot.
I do not get why they even scrap it when people still play oblivion its just silly.
here is the Morrowind one: "Shadow of Morrowind" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35789/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D35789%26preview%3D&pUp=1
On my latest Skyrim playthrough, Im planning to add as many different provinces of Tamriel that I can, without the game exploding, so that I can explore all of Tamriel or at least some small additional portions of it (kind of like Dragonborn and Solstheim technically being a province of Morrowind). There are quite a few in the "New Lands" section of the Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/searchresults/?src_cat=30
About the scrapping what I meant was big chance they start over again with the NEW TES as a basis. which makes it even longer till it comes out.
