Full Screen or Borderless-windowed?
For more fps and stability? Should i play in full screen or borderless-windowed? I play on Ultra.

Borderless Windowed.

Since it requires SKSE, set up the memory tweak

The borderless window is slightly more performance friendly to most players, but not all of them. I am playing like that myself.

Question: my game froze once in fullscreen and I couldn't get to the Task Manager to close it. Had to force-shutdown my computer. Would borderless-windowed have avoided this problem?

I'm currently playing in borderless with a ENB-setting from the ini file.

So not sure if i still need this mod.

While the game isn't running, open the Task Manager and use the Options menu to enable Always On Top.

Personally I always play in full screen mode. Playing in a window means faster application switching, but more load on your system while actually playing the game. Regardless, you'll want OneTweak (as linked above) installed.

Thank you everyone

Do that mod do any changes to savegames? Or at all?

Nope, it is actually a SKSE plugin. It has no scripts or anything, safe to add remove anytime.

Oh nice! Happy to hear that

Is it easy/possible to install manually? i have two stored game installations for two different saves. And i dont want to install it with NMM on the older install version because NMM is updated to the new one. So im afraid installing it with NMM on the older install version will mess with it's mods.

This one will make no difference. Go ahead and install it with NMM. It makes 0 changes to the game itself.

In older versions of Windows that setting was enabled by default. NFI why they changed it.
