Looking for a Darker nights/dungeons Mod
I haven't played Skyrim in awhile and don't really remember what weather/lightning mod I used in the past. I am looking for something to make nights and or dungeons/caves really dark. I would also prefer something that isnt gonna be a big hit to fps cause I can only run the game on mediocre settings. Anyone know of mod?

You're covered, do NOT clean mods unless you are specifically instructed to do so.

There's a dungeon mod I would highly recommend. It dynamically goes into dungeon cells and disables light sources.

I can't remember the name of it. I think it was DARK, NIGHTS, DARKNESS... probably one of those three. If it's not, then I'll load up MO when I get a chance and see what the actual name is.

I think this is the mod PeggleFrank is referring to:

Lightless Abandon Dungeons by Marbaus - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9859/?

Am not personally familiar with it so can't recommend one way or the other.

Nope, it was a different mod.

Just checked, it's called Eternal Darkness.

Thanks for the correction!

Eternal Darkness by SOT Team and jbvertexx - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70454/?

Sands of Time team make some excellent mods. Furthermore, they constantly keep them up to date. Though I do not use this mod, I would recommend any mod that they put out (provided, of course, that it's the type of mod that you like).

EDITED

Taking a look at this mod, I am seriously considering placing it in my load order.
I already use Sands of Time Sleeping Encounters Standalone Module by The SOT Team - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49307/?

So turns out that climates is too big of a hit to fps for me. Gonna have to try something else.

That's why I don't use it. Would like to, because it really does look good, but my computer would cough up a hairball if I added COT to my load order! Hope you find something that works for you. Good luck!

You can try Vivid weathers, and if you're not using an ENB there is a "doom" setting in the mcm that turns interiors very dark, the low setting on exteriors is pretty good as well, but not as dark as the combos listed above ... still it's a single program and not quite so big a hit to FPS

After getting rid of climates at the suggestion of a streamer friend I am trying Realist Lighting Overhaul (RLO). Gotta say I am liking it so far, no noticable fps hit, nights and dungeons are really dark. Climates, even if the weather wasn't killing my fps, I felt that it drained the color out of the game everything had a grayish hue all the time. I also didn't like that I never saw a normal sunny day. I passed around a month with the timescale upped to see the day/night cycle lighting. On the extremely rare occasion I had a sunny day, there was still a "weather" effect where some little white particles where drifting around idk what they were supposed to be. Maybe spores or pollen or something. Most days where downpouring rain for terribly foggy though.

Hope RLO works out to my liking, I really hate having to keep changing mods like this.
