Whats the fastest way 2 travel?
Not including fast travel (obviously), theres sprinting on foot mayb using stamina potions or stamina regen enchantments or just simpy having high stamina (scaling mountians becomes difficult), theres on horseback, the horse can sprint but will slow eventually (mountains r easier 2 climb but there r still areas i have 2 avoid, Vampire lord again with high base stamina or stamina enchantments (i can't remember if the enchantments are canceled out or not) your able to fly over water which makes traversing lakes much faster, as a werewolf (stamina doesn't seem 2 b an issue in 4 me at least) u can sprint mountains and water are still difficult but the whole running is a lot faster and finally theres dragons...but whenever i ride them i don't seem to have much control as to where im going, i suppose u can travel by targeting different creatures but of course that could b difficult. If u knew when and where what would spawn mayb itd b easier. Ofc on dragonback mountains and water and ground in general is no longer an issue. SO. What's the fastest? :steamhappy: sry it isnt all in individual paragraphs and ez 2 read.

Aside from fast travel, sprinting on a horse, followed by sprinting naked or in armor with the perks making them weightless. Then sneak rolling, then regular horse running, then running normally.

If we ad mods, and avoid dragon riding since it's hard to control, there's one hookshot mod that can get you pretty far, pretty fast. Although it can kill you with fall damage if you accidentally jump over a building/mountain, etc and keep going.

I still prefer my trusty horse ... but I did tweak the default speed in the Convenient horses mod by about 10% (just enough to out run lions, and tigers, and bears oh my! LOL

I myself prefer my own two feet, so that I'm always ready for combat, because mounted combat is...annoying. That, and without mods, it's a pain to get horses to stay where you want them too.

I have 2 admit I usually run everywhere. But surely as a werewolf (a definite improvement on general speed) you'd b combat ready and wouldnt have 2 worry about the combat, using hircine's ring u could transform multiple times. Feed off the animals u find (DG required), I usually kill the goats i find just 4 the hell of it regardless of what I'm equipped with.

If talking fastest werewolf travel would be fastest but that can be short duration unless you continually find targets to feed on.
Do a race between a horse and a werewolf!

With mods Jaxonz Blink Teleport allowing you to travel almost anywhere is fun!
Easier downhill where you can decide where you want to go to; than uphill where it's harder to lock ontop a ledge you cannot see from the bottom of a cliff.

Slow travel is usually more fun as you see and get to interact with more enemies ... though!

If the horse runs straight while sprinting it's faster, but of course it runs out of stamina and eventually slows, no way that I know of to improve the horse's stamina w/out mods or commands.

I'm not sure exactly how hircine's ring works, but can't u transform as many times as u want? Would that cancel out the need 2 feed? (It would slow u down a bit but honestly still faster than running).

I do tend 2 prefer my feet xD Could u give a link 2 the mod?

I have spent time racing the headless horseman from Riften to his lair at Hamvir's Rest.

The hassle with horses is the time it takes to dismount and unless you have convenient horses or similar mod then they aren't very convenient.

Overall using a mix of everything for whatever suits you to keep the fun going works for me.

At times if I'm attacked on horseback by an animal; I just lead it to the next enemy further along the road, then leave them to take each other out.

Works like using a fury spell.

As long as you don't get it from the "don't work shop" Stick with Nexus

Just remembered something I missed before... I think the mod was the Gray Cowl of Noturnal where you could get "The boots of Lightning Jack" ... Lets you walk faster than the game lets you run ;-)
