How To Prevent Vampirism
There is a place called Valthume. In there, you will meet a spirit who has been preventing the rise of Hevnoraak. He grows weaker everyday. You have to help him, once done, he says you can take Hevnoraak's mask. Wear it, and you can't catch disease or be poisoned. I am yet to find an enchantment like that. But when I do, it'll be a day when I don't have to wear the mask. Maybe I can disenchant it.

Bring LOTS of garlic :)

soryr, sorry.. that is a troll on my behalf.

Vampirism should not come in the way of quests. Not even old ones.

Aquiring vampirism is not instant, you need to spend some time for it to grow from just another disease into full vampirism and is curable on this initial stage. IE: you just need some potions of cure disease to prevent vampirism.

Alternative is the Companions faction - you become disease immune at the cost of sleep bonuses halfway through their questline (and metric ton of cure diseasepotions along the way).

Full vampirism is curable through one small quest.

You could also chose to be a werewolf instead then you get 100% resistance to diseases

The mask cannot be disenchanted.
There is a necklace of disease immunity that gives 100% resistance.
Argonians are 100% resistant.

Pay attention when in combat with vampires. You will be notified.
Pay attention to your Active Effects menu.

There are Shrines practically everywhere and they all cure sanguinarius.

Hoard any potions of cure disease that you can find. Then you don't have to depend on shrines.

You may want to check that fact, I know people played Vampire Argonians before Dawnguard came out, so the resistance can not be 100%.

I think it's more along the 50% mark myself

well fun fact, you get one of the ingredients for a cure disease potion from a Vampire itself:
Mudcrab Chitin
Vampire Dust
Charred Skeever Hide
Hawk Feathers
and Felsaad Tern Feathers if you have Dragonborn DLC..

I usualy play as a Vampire these days, but i remember before i usualy smashed any Mud Crab i seen and grabbed the chitin from it.
As long you doing that you shoud have plenty of cure disease potions or just need to find a alchemy station / shrine.

Other strange side note: Voice of the Sky (the one from reading the plates on the seventhousand steps) works on Vampires too - they wont attack you and even attack them wont end the Effect, they will defend themself, but other Vampires just do nothing..

Sadly the effect only lasts 24 Gameplay hours (not ingame time) but if you have hard times clean a vampire Dungeon ..

Yeah but being a Werewolf is boring compared to what we get in Dawnguard.

You will find disease immunity necklaces, here and there. I tend to find them at Belethor's quite often.

Cure disease potions are your best friend here. As soon as you see the "you have contracted sanguinare vampiris" message, finish killin' and then take the potion. Also, you can hit a shrine or ask a Vigilant to cure you.

before i join the dawnguard, if i'm feeling cheesy, i'll throw disease resist on a few peices of an alternate armor set, before i go vampire hunting.

the set is also beneficial for fighting the billions of angry diseased wildlife till you get the nature shout learned, so you don't need to cure rockjoint or bone break fever 500 times either.

cure disease potions are by and large the cheapest and easiest solution, but .. sometimes you just get tired of collecting ingredients for it. idk.

Elf girl in Radiant Raiment in Solitude (i always forget her name)
Often sells necklace of disease immunity so keep an eye out on her stock.

Its disenchantable too so you can make your own disease resistant gear if you wish.

Other than that make garlic bread or eat raw hawk feathers to cleanse diseases (plenty of hawks flying around Solitude shoot em with lightning spell or bow if you have good aim).
