Summerset Shadows Bug
Delvin gives me the job, but it doesn't say I've started the quest and it's not in my journal, and whenever I try to get a new job i'm told I need to finish the special one. Is there a way to fix this bug?

So you mean I can't finish the quest now, making it so I can't even get the damn achievement?

This is a known bug, but it has not been fixed yet. There are no recommended fixes, but these two:
- Load a previous save and try again
- Travel to Windhelm and speak directly to Torsten Cruel-Sea.

Loading a previous save and talking to Torsten over and over again...

You might try console commands. Save first before you do this.

setstage did nothing. Any idea when this will be patched?

Probably never. There won't be any more official patches.
The link I gave you contains al the quest stages. You might use setstage to start another line.

Would the skyrim unofficial patch fix this issue?
The link I gave you mentions which bugs are fixed with the Unofficial Patches. If it is not mentioned it might be a long time before it is addressed

UKSP does nothing... Now i'll never complete the game 100% and get the achievement, all because game devs won't fix a stupid bug.

The problem lies in the fact that there are no more Devs anymore. The team has been disbanded.
