Stuck on loading screen.
Not sure what happened. It worked perfectly fine when I played last night, but today when I tried to continue my game, it's just stuck on the loading screen. The screen changes with different information and characters, but never loads the actual game.

I couldn't even use task manager to exit the game with ctrl+alt+del. I had to log off and log back in. I even verified game cach and there were no problems. I have about 24 mods installed, but I even unchecked all of them and tried to start the game, still the same problem.

I can apparently start a new game with no probem. But it gets stuck on the loading screen if I tried to load the saved game from starting a new game.

I use SKSE as well and still the same problem. Not sure what else I can do.

First make sure none of your files have become corrupted, just follow this guide...

This has helped me immensely when I go through load screens while in game. I used to get the infinite load screen bug often. I haven't had it since installing this mod. Hopefully it'll help with your issue as well.

Tried both methods, still the same problem. Only with loading my continued game or saved file. I can start a new game with no problem, but anything after I exit from the game and restart does not work.

Do you use skse? If so, st up the memory tweak for it...

I think the problem was that the saved file was somehow corrupted. I started a new game and I've loaded the new save without any problems. I mean, I'm still new to the game so I wasn't far along in it. Only level 17 and I didn't even start many of the quests.

Best to start and end each game session with a new save. Do some housekeeping every once in awhile, including deleteing the quick and auto saves.

Funny thing is, I have been doing that. I've been removing the auto and travel saves and frequently saving whenever I enter an area or start a quest. Hopefully this new playthrough won't give me this loading screen problems in the long run.
