How do you open Extensible Follower Framework's command box/wheel?

The mod's page on Nexus doesn't really tell you how to use it other than console commands for turning it off, and the book you get in your inventory after you install it doesn't explain either.

Talk to the follower you want to give EFF commands to. One of the interface styles EFF offers in its MCM menu, BTW, is putting it into the form of dialogue options. The others will intercept an attempt to talk to the follower and will include a talk option in case you were actually trying to just talk to them.

'Dialogue' was the only one that worked earlier. I reinstalled an earlier version to see if it would help and I still had problems. I turned the latest one back on again and now 'Dialogue' doesn't even work.

People have told me to use LOOT to order my mods and to make sure EFFCore.esm, EFFDialogue.esp, and UIExtensions.esp are all enabled in the "Data Files" option in the regular launcher. I did both with no resolve, still.

Hmm. Ok, post your load order, let's see if it's some sort of conflict. Also, what version of EFF are you using?

that sucks considering that when using LOOT you can click on the top right 3 dots and copy your load order to paste here. now you know.

looking but nothing is jumping out at me.

the only thing I can recommend is not using the steam SKSE. instead using the skse from silverlock.org . uninstall the steam skse first.

I installed and used UFO, AFT, and EFF (individually). Not one of them worked. Why are mods so damned broken?

How do I make sure I uninstall everything from the Steam version? And how do you install it manually?

go to your library and right click skse and delete local content. I am not going to download the steam version my self to be sure this is good enough but I believe it should be.

use this link to download skse. I always use the archive but I think the installer is good enough.
when using the archive open the zip folder and copy everything to your skyrim folder making sure the skse launcher is in the same folder as the skrim launcher.
steam/steamapps/common/skyrim

You will now run skyrim through this skse launcher. create a desktop shortcut for ease of use.

I had trouble running the steam launcher through Mod Organizer and I know of a couple people that have had problems running it through the skyrim launcher while other people seem to have no problems running it.

BTW there is a vid on the download page. a little outdated info but the basic info will never be outdated. use the latest version of skse
