Crashes During Intro

i have a lot of mods on skyrim and it works fine until about 20 seconds into the intro scene when you make a new game, then it crashes. does anybody know how to fix this?

Ok seriously now. Do you mean in the vanilla start in the wagon, or 20 seconds on the main menu?
If you mean the wagon intro.. disable all mods until your in the keep, before you move on. Thats the easy fix. add them there.
If you mean at the menu.. then you most likely have to many mods out of order.
you need to look at sorting. Which you really need to do no matter when your going to activate them...

havent gotten a chance to get back on my pc till today, i disabled the mods untill after i got in the keep then everything worked fine. once i got outside, it crashed in about 30 seconds. i loaded the game again then started playing for about 15 seconds then it crashed. i think i might have too many graphics mods and my pc cant handle them but if thats not it and u know what it might be, let me know, thanks.

AND:
did you install your SKSE if your modding?
did you install and sort via LOOT?
did you have dirty mods? if you dont know what that is or how to tell whats really dirty vs what needs to be marked.. did you clean them anyway? ( thats an oops usually.. :-p )

I have sorted my mods with loot
it does say i have dirty mods but i dont know how to clean them
and is there an easy way to show u what mods i have? (i have about 260)

On LOOT in the upper right corner.. see the 3 dots? push that and use the Copy Load order.. you can paste that here.. :-)

just avoid posting any ' adult ' mods.. :-)

also i just cleaned the dirty mods and now skyrim crashes after i try to load the game

You only need realistic water legendary

Many mods actually require dirty edits (specifically ITMs) to work properly. LOOT doesn't always have complete info on what they are. Reinstall the mods you cleaned. Always clean UDRs, but leave ITMs. The only ITMs you should clean are in the official master files (Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfire.esm, and Dragonborn.esm).

Frosty is correct on Realistic Water Two. RealisticWaterTwo - Legendary.esp includes all the others you have in your load order already.

Yes i have set up skse.ini, ill try to reinstall the mods that i cleaned tomorrow, ill let you know how it goes.

Check out gophers video on how to clean mods with TES5Edit. Its really not difficult. Everything warning you about dirty edits is a potential point of failure. the more you have the less stable skyrim is.

i reinstalled all my mods, cleaned the dirty ones, reinstalled them after they were cleaned, and sorted the load order thru loot. now i can start the game but when i press continue, the game starts loading but just before it goes to let me play, it crashes. Anyone know what to do?
p.s. thanks for not giving up and trying to help me
