SKSE, memory and skse.ini

Will this allow me to load and play my old save files or do I have to start a new game?
Adding (properly managed) new script resources to the game do not mess things up. Removing them from ongoing game is what breaks games.
SKSE memory fix is highly recommended. People around this forum more or less expect that you are using it. ENBoost and USLEEP (in your case, older Unofficial Skyrim Patch, instead of USLEEP) are two other things that regulars expect others to use. There is no valid reason NOT having them in your game.
Old Skyrim memory allocation is a bit wonky and 32bit release bumps in to all sorts of things, like DX9 VRAM cap.
